Hi guys!

This is my review of Soul Calibur IV, a game that is out for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.

Soul Calibur IV is like a japanese arcade-style fighting game. It is very fun and there are a lot of stages to choose from. There are also a lot of characters as well as items that you can put on your customized characters. There are also some Star Wars characters in this game. The customizable character option is quite fun and easy to use. My friend made a guy look really creepy though because his sword was bigger than the character himself.

I think there is about 30 or 40 characters in the game, so deciding which character to choose takes a while. My favorite character is Siegfried because my friend customized him and gave him the Soul Calibur sword and really good armour. When you get a K.O. you can keep hitting the people and that also gets you over-kill points. The Tower of Lost Souls mode on one-player is very hard and so are the other one-player modes. You have to download The Apprentice, so if you’re having trouble trying to get him that’s probably why.

I think this game is really fun and interesting and if you have played any of the older Soul Calibur games, you should try out this one. I’m giving this game a 7.5/10.

This is my review of Mario Kart DS, which is a game out for the Nintendo DS. Mario Kart DS is a very fun game. There are some new tracks and you can even play on tracks that are from older Mario Kart games. There is a variety of cup races to play on. My favorite cup is the Star Cup. The last track on this cup is quite challenging because you fall off the edges almost all the time. That track is called Rainbow Road.

There is also a lot of characters to choose from, but you have to unlock some of them. My favorite character is either Yoshi or Waluigi. Here is a list of some of the characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Bowser, Yoshi, Dry Bones, Wario, R.O.B. and Waluigi. I’m sure there are more characters, but I can’t remember if there are. There are quite a bit of short cuts in some of the tracks. I’m not sure if there are cheats for this game because it is on a portable system, but if you had an Action Replay you probably could find some cheats for it. You have to beat the whole game to get R.O.B. , because he is one of the best characters in the game.

This game is very fun and amazing, and for a portable system, the graphics are amazing too. If you are a fan of the Mario series you should check it out.

I give this game a rating of 9/10.

Have you ever seen some one dressed as a vampire clown for Halloween? Well I have. My old friend from Alberta wanted to be a really strange thing for Halloween, so I told him to mix something with a vampire.

It looked really strange because it had vampire fangs, but it had a clown wig on. It had a cape and those really long clown shoes too. When my friend tried to walk in it, he stumbled and fell all the time because of the shoes.

When we went Trick or Treating, a teenager answered one of the doors and almost fell over laughing because of my friend’s costume. It was really funny. He gave my friend and I a lot of candy because he liked our costumes. At the next house, my friend fell in their bush. That was funny too. That was my best Halloween ever.

I have a really big announcement for all Nintendo fans- a new Nintendo DS! I searched Nintendo on Google and I saw a page about a new Nintendo DS. I read it and it was really interesting. It is called the Nintendo DSi.

The Nintendo DSi is a lot different then the Nintendo DS lite. The GBA (Game Boy Advance) slot is removed, so you can’t play GBA games on the DSi. It is compatible with the Wii, and is thinner than a DS lite. The speakers are also higher quality than the DS lite too. It still has two screens, but I’m not sure if they are any bigger than the DS lite’s screens.

I’m pretty sure the graphics are much better and the games will be longer and some of the mini games look really fun. But, the release date for North America is unknown. For Japan, I think the release date is November 1st, 2008.

Today we watched a video called “All I Need”. It was a video about poverty. It shows on the left side a video about a boy who has a normal life. On the other side of the screen it shows a video about a boy who is in poverty and how he has to live with it. One boy sleeps in his own bed while the other boy sleeps in an alley with all his brothers and sisters.

This video made me feel sad about the boy who slept in the alley. The other boy got up and brushed his teeth while the other boy washed his face in a really small sink. One of the boys goes to school and the other boy goes to work. One of the boys is painting a picture and the other boy is painting and gluing shoe insoles. This video made me feel sad about the boy who was making shoe insoles. He only had one thing to eat the whole time while he was making shoe insoles.

I think that there is something that someone could do about poverty. If we donated to the people who are in poverty, they could start a new life with all the money they got. They could find a new house to live in. They would have enough food for their whole family. They could pay off their debts if they have any. But, I’m not sure if there is a donation program for people who are in poverty. I’m sure there is though. And if there isn’t, there should be. 

On Friday I didn’t do much. Almost all I did was go to the park. This weekend I had a lot of fun.  On Saturday me and my dad went to my dad’s friend’s house. That was really fun.  When I got back I played my favorite video game for a while.  I got really far in it.  After that I came upstairs and me and my dad watched TV for about an hour and then we went to bed.  On Sunday morning I got up and had breakfast then I watched TV. My friend called and asked me if I wanted to go the park so I said yes. We had a lot of fun at the park. When I got back I had lunch.

For my Thanksgiving dinner me and my dad went to my dad’s friend’s house. It was really fun because they just got a new puppy and I played with him almost the whole time. For supper we had steak and potatoes. It was really yummy. After supper we had pumpkin pie. It was really yummy too. I had a lot of fun this Thanksgiving.

Would you stay in an outhouse for 10 minutes? Well I did. I felt like I was gonna puke in the outhouse because it smelled so bad. I was in the outhouse and when I tried to open the door it was stuck! I thought I was gonna be stuck in there for a long time. I told the kids waiting to use the outhouse that the door was stuck. They got the principal and he managed to get the door open. When I got out I took a deep breath and smelled the fresh air. After that I went back to the campfire and it was time to go to our tents. I was glad to be out of the outhouse.
