When I get home from school I usually like to have a snack. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Nachos- I really like these because It is easy to make them!
  • Fruit Smoothies- These are good on a summer’s day when it is really hot out!
  • Cheese and Crackers- This is probably the simplest snack ever!
  • Yogurt and Harvest Crunch Cereal- This is more like a breakfast then a snack!

So, now that you know what I like I will include the recipes and ingredients!

Nachos- You will need: A bag of tortilla chips, cheese, a cookie sheet, tin-foil, salsa or anything else you like on nachos!

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Place some tin-foil on your cookie sheet.
  3. Put some chips onto the tin-foil.
  4. Put salsa and cheese on the chips.
  5. Place cookie sheet in oven.
  6. Take them out of the oven when the cheese has melted quite a bit or until you think they are done.
  7. Enjoy!

If you would like nachos quicker, just put them on a plate and put some cheese on them and put them in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Fruit Smoothies- You will need: A blender, some cups, frozen fruit, ice-cream and anything that you like in your smoothies!

  1. Place some ice-cream into the blender.
  2. Liquefy the ice-cream for about 15 seconds.
  3. Stop liquefying the ice-cream and put some of your frozen fruit(or just normal chopped up fruit) into the blender.
  4. Liquefy them for about 20 seconds, or more depending on how liquid you want your smoothie.
  5. If you like your smoothies cold, put some ice into the blender and blend for 30 seconds.
  6. Grab your cup and pour some of the smoothie into it, get a straw or a spoon and enjoy!

Cheese and Crackers- You will need: Your favorite brand of crackers, your favorite kind of cheese, a knife(be careful when you use this or have adult supervision while you are cutting the cheese) and a plate.

  1. Put some of your crackers onto a plate.
  2. Cut up some cheese with your knife.
  3. Place the cheese on the crackers.
  4. Eat it!

Yogurt and Harvest Crunch Cereal- You will need: A bowl, a knife(a butter knife should be fine for this), a spoon, your favorite kind of yogurt, Harvest Crunch Cereal and a banana.

  1. Place some of your yogurt into your bowl.
  2. Chop up your banana and put the slices into the bowl.
  3. Get your Harvest Crunch cereal and put some into the bowl.
  4. Mic around the yogurt with your spoon.
  5. Eat and enjoy!
