When I get home from school I usually like to have a snack. Here are some of my favorites:
- Nachos- I really like these because It is easy to make them!
- Fruit Smoothies- These are good on a summer’s day when it is really hot out!
- Cheese and Crackers- This is probably the simplest snack ever!
- Yogurt and Harvest Crunch Cereal- This is more like a breakfast then a snack!
So, now that you know what I like I will include the recipes and ingredients!
Nachos- You will need: A bag of tortilla chips, cheese, a cookie sheet, tin-foil, salsa or anything else you like on nachos!
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Place some tin-foil on your cookie sheet.
- Put some chips onto the tin-foil.
- Put salsa and cheese on the chips.
- Place cookie sheet in oven.
- Take them out of the oven when the cheese has melted quite a bit or until you think they are done.
- Enjoy!
If you would like nachos quicker, just put them on a plate and put some cheese on them and put them in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Fruit Smoothies- You will need: A blender, some cups, frozen fruit, ice-cream and anything that you like in your smoothies!
- Place some ice-cream into the blender.
- Liquefy the ice-cream for about 15 seconds.
- Stop liquefying the ice-cream and put some of your frozen fruit(or just normal chopped up fruit) into the blender.
- Liquefy them for about 20 seconds, or more depending on how liquid you want your smoothie.
- If you like your smoothies cold, put some ice into the blender and blend for 30 seconds.
- Grab your cup and pour some of the smoothie into it, get a straw or a spoon and enjoy!
Cheese and Crackers- You will need: Your favorite brand of crackers, your favorite kind of cheese, a knife(be careful when you use this or have adult supervision while you are cutting the cheese) and a plate.
- Put some of your crackers onto a plate.
- Cut up some cheese with your knife.
- Place the cheese on the crackers.
- Eat it!
Yogurt and Harvest Crunch Cereal- You will need: A bowl, a knife(a butter knife should be fine for this), a spoon, your favorite kind of yogurt, Harvest Crunch Cereal and a banana.
- Place some of your yogurt into your bowl.
- Chop up your banana and put the slices into the bowl.
- Get your Harvest Crunch cereal and put some into the bowl.
