I can hear the faint sound of the wind brushing against the trees, swaying them lightly, gently. I hear the light chirping of a bird, singing it’s sweet melody, only to have it’s beautiful tune carried off with the wind. feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, embracing it in a blanket of nice heat, to be blown away by the cold grasp of the wind.
I look at my surroundings, a small forest alive with colors and creatures. I watch a bug flying aimlessly as if it lost something it loved dearly. I see almost a city of fallen pine cones, all nestled under a big tree. Many other pine cones are on the ground, like they were thrown around and landed all over the ground. I find a big slab of rock, the surface of it covered in white dust and smashed bits of chalk, or a rock that was very white and very fragile. I wander around the forest some more. I see roots from a tree that was cut down. The surface where the saw had hit it was very flat and circular, and the root had many rings in it. As I start walking back, I turn around and look at the small forest once more, noticing it’s natural beauty.
I found a whole bunch of really cool pictures of globes, so I have decided to write a post about them!
I searched “globes” on Flickr and all of these really cool photos of amazing pieces of art were there. It must’ve taken the people who made them a while because they look just amazing. There were I think 678 photos tagged with “globe”. I bet more people have added photos of globes by now because while I was looking at them a few more people added “globe” to their tags. I have also made a Photo Story video using Windows Photo Story 3. The video took a while to create because I had to find the photos on Flickr and remember who uploaded them on to Flickr.
Through out blogging, I have made a lot of friends and met a lot of other bloggers. It’s great to see how many people are blogging and the things that they have in common with others. I have learned quite a bit about what other people’s cultures are and learned what they like to do. We have a lot of friends from Tasmania which is great because it is awesome to learn what they do and what Tasmania is like. If I ever went to Tasmania, I would probably observe some of the animals and the plants that are there and write a post about it when I get back.
It’s fun to go to a new blog because it makes you remember when you started blogging and the help that you may have needed. Mrs. Wyatt is the teacher in Tasmania who is just so great because she helps her students learn about blogging. In Tasmania they have started a new school year just a little while ago, so she has a new class of “Newby” bloggers. Their blogs are really fun to look at because they are just learning how to use blogs and work out some of the issues that they may have. They will of course need to do some learning though because they will have to learn how to add links, how to add images to your posts and how to add videos or other types of media to your posts.
A lot of other people have also learned what I like to do which is of course play video games and review them. Reviewing a video game is really fun because you always are reviewing something new to you. My newest video game post is really good because I put a lot of work into it and it ended up being my longest post. Reviewing video games is a passion for me just like other people in my class like to write posts about soccer. The people who write about soccer are also really great bloggers because they put a lot of effort into their posts and make sure that they include the info that is needed the most.
