I am just writing a quick post about my favorite holiday. My favorite holiday is Christmas because you get to spend a lot of time with your family and friends. I also like it because you get 2 weeks off from school which is really good because I like to play with my friends during Christmas break. As I have mentioned before I also like Christmas because sometimes I go to Ottawa which is really fun during the winter. There is always tons of snow.
What do you like about certain holidays? which holiday is your favorite?
This is just a quick post about what I want for Christmas.
For Christmas this year, I want Re: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for my PlayStation2 and I might want a game for my DS and I might think of some other stuff that I want later in December. Here is a link to a page about gifts. Leave a comment and tell me what you want for Christmas!
This post is about the North American release of Re: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories!
Re: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (or Re:CoM for short) is a PlayStation 2 remake of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories that was originally released for the GBA (Game Boy Advance). Square Enix only released Re: CoM in Japan, but on December 2, they are releasing the English version!
Since it was only out in Japan, I can’t really give it a full review, so I can only review some of the stuff I know about it. Re: CoM is a card game, so you will have to select cards to use so you can attack. Different cards are more powerful than others and in the corner of the card it shows you it’s level.
In this game you can play as Sora or Riku, and both of them have separate stories to play. The graphics for this game are really good. This was the second Kingdom Hearts game to be made, but it is not called Kingdom Hearts 2. Kingdom Hearts 2 had a Japanese release of I think December 2005 and was released in North America and Europe some time in 2006.
In Japan, Re:CoM was released with Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is still Kingdom Hearts 2, but with a lot of bonus content. In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, when you are in The World That Never Was, you actually get to fight Roxas instead of just watching a cut scene where Sora fights him. You also get to fight these things called Mushroom XIII (XIII is Roman numerals for 13), and if you defeat all of them you get a keyblade but I don’t know what it is called.
I got this game for Christmas so I now have a little more info about it. When you advance another floor in the castle, you have a world card and you get to decide which world you want to go to first. This game is actually a lot harder than it sounds because the card fighting system can be a bit difficult at times, especially when you might need it the most. Once you use all of your cards you have to recharge them by holding down a button. Every time you use up all of your cards, it will take longer to recharge them.
The levels are also really hard in this game like Monstro and Wonderland(Wonderland is a lot harder because at one point you have to fight these cards that the queen summons and they are really powerful). I am actually stuck on Wonderland because of that too. From what I have played of this game I would say it actually isn’t as good as I hoped it to be. I am giving this game a 6/10.
This is my review of Kingdom Hearts II, a game that’s is exclusively out for the Playstation 2.
It takes place 1 year after Kingdom Hearts. In this game, Sora has to fight against the Nobodies and the heartless. This game is more challenging then Kingdom Hearts because you have to fight a lot of bosses and really hard enemies!
The basic enemies are quite easy, but once you get farther in the game, you will run into really hard enemies. The nobodies are a lot harder than the Heartless because they do more damage and have more health then other enemies. Donald and Goofy still fight with you, but i found them quite useless because their attacks are not very good. Sometimes if you die in a boss fight, you can play as King Mickey! King Micky is really good.
Once you get far in the game you will have to fight Organization XIII members. They are the Nobody leaders and are really hard. The hardest Organization member is probably Saix or Xemnas, their leader. Demyx is one of the easiest Organization members, but if you just got the game he is really hard. Xigbar is also really hard because the weapons he uses is like some kind of gun that homes in on you, and when ever you try to attack him he will disappear and reappear upside down because he controls gravity. Luxord isn’t that hard, but since he is so annoying it makes him really hard.
Through out the game you will get something called a drive form. Sora’s new clothes in Kingdom Hearts II allow you to transform into different forms with different abilities.
This is my favorite video game ever, so I’m giving it a 10/10.
